Biography, Life story
Hussien El Emam was born on February 8, 1951 in Egypt. He is the son of director Hassan Al Imam and brother of musician Moody Al Imam. He is married to actress Sahar Ramy. He has two sons: Youssef and Salem.
He and his brother, Moody Al-Imam, presented many tunes and albums, and formed a duet and musician with him; Until their work reached five albums, and composed music for films: Caboria, Estakoza, and other films. His activity in the recent period was limited to the development of melodies for plays. He put melodies in a new color for some plays, such as: Ballo and Alabanda, and when Baba sleeps, and for adults only on the state stage.
Hussein Al-Imam recently decided to move away from the commercial style of composing tunes for films, and made some of the tunes he composed and freely, given that he owns his own studio. He also stated that many of his works are stolen, the most recent of which is the song performed by singer Rico and Mica. It is similar to his song “Also in Zamalek”. He decided not to disclose details of the cinematic works, after noticing the theft of his works and ideas, and recently turned to writing and stories by presenting a set of ideas to writer and author Mohamed Nasser.
Hussein Al-Imam died on May 17, 2014 at the age of 63 at his home in the European countryside in Cairo, after a heart attack.
