Lama Gebreil is an Egyptian broadcaster based in Cairo. She studied at the American University in Cairo and also attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a research university in the United States. Additionally, she studied at Narmer American College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics. Lama began her career in radio by hosting a program on an online station that streamed on the internet. She then transitioned to television by training at Al-Hayat Channel before making her official on-screen debut. She worked as a news presenter on CBC Extra in Egypt and hosted the entertainment show “Discover,” where she featured a mix of comedic clips and the latest updates from social media and the internet.
