Biography, Life story

Nehal Anbar was born on June 25, 1961, in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to a businesswoman mother from Menoufia and a diplomat father from Sharqia. She lived in the United States with her family for a period, where she completed her high school education. Later, she returned to Egypt to study at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism. She worked in this field for several years before pursuing a career in the arts.

Her artistic career began in 1995 when she participated in Ramadan TV specials with actor Samir Ghanem. In the same year, she had a small role in the movie “Birds of Darkness” starring Adel Imam and Yousra, directed by Sherif Arafa. Since then, she has appeared in numerous roles, particularly in television dramas. Some of her notable works include the series “Al-Mar’a Asluha Namir,” “Dumoo’ Al-Ghadab,” and “Hawanem Garden City” in 1997. She also starred in “Ya Rijal Al-Alam Ittahidu” in 2000 alongside Hassan Hosny, and “Sooq Al-Asr” in 2001 with Ahmed Abdel Aziz, among others.

Personal and Love Life

Nehal Anbar has been married three times. Her first marriage was to keyboardist Magdy El-Husseini, with whom she had a son, Hossam El-Husseini, who is now a rapper. They later divorced. Her second marriage was to theater director Hossam El-Din Salah, but they divorced after seven months. Her third marriage was to businessman Hassan Saleh from Alexandria, but they separated after just four months due to severe disagreements that made continuing their marriage impossible.

Her son, Hossam El-Husseini, started his career as a rapper and later transitioned to acting. He appeared in several projects with actor Tamer Hosny, including the 2010 film “Noor Einy,” which introduced him to the public. He also starred alongside his mother in the 2012 film “El-Maslaha,” though viewers were unaware that they were related.
