Manal Salama was born on December 27, 1970, in Cairo, Egypt. Coming from an artistic family, she is the daughter of theater director Salama Hassan and the elder sister of actor Sherif Salama. She began her artistic career in the late 1980s with small roles in various television series and managed to deliver significant performances in both cinematic and television works, including the series “I Will Not Live in My Father’s Cloak” in 1995 alongside artist Nour El Sherif. In 2010, she was appointed as the marketing manager for the Egyptian Theater House.
Manal Salama is married to director Adel Adeeb.
