Inji Ali was born on April 1, 1970, in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. She studied psychology at the American University in Cairo. Her mother works as a university professor. She began her career working at the Nile Variety Channel, presenting the famous show “Sahar Ma’ana,” then moved to Dream TV to host “Ya Masahrani,” and later to Nile Cinema Channel. She also ventured into acting, playing the role of a broadcaster or her own character in several films, including “55 Isaaaf,” starring Mohamed Saad, Ahmed Helmy, and Ghada Adel in 2001; “Sahar Al-Layali,” starring Hanan Turk, Mona Zaki, Ola Ghanem, Ahmed Helmy, and others in 2003; and “Ahlaam Al-Fatya Al-Tayesh,” starring Ramez Galal and Nelly Karim in 2007.
