Biography, Life story

Dina was born on March 27, 1965, in Rome, Italy. Her full name is Dina Talaat Sayed Mohamed. She is the sister of the retired singer Rita, who worked in the music industry during the 1980s and then chose to retire and wear the niqab. Dina holds a master’s degree in philosophy. She gained fame in the 1990s, starting her dancing career in high school. She maintained her position at the forefront despite competition from Lebanese and Russian dancers, as well as a few Egyptians in Egypt, and became known as a skilled belly dancer. She also ventured into acting, participating in cinema and theater, including her role in the play Al-Abanda in 2001, and she starred in the film Ibn Izz opposite Alaa Waly El Din. She often portrayed dancers in her films.

Dina married filmmaker Samah Al-Bagouri, who directed a music video for her featuring actor Ahmed El-Sakka. She gave birth to her only son, Ali, but later divorced him and had a brief marriage with businessman Hossam Abu Al-Fotouh, which also ended in separation.
