She started her singing career at the age of 17 in 1993 when she participated in the “Studio El Fan” program in the folkloric singing category, winning the gold medal. Her debut album, “Ala Kol Behwak,” was released in 1994 under Darin Production and Distribution. In 1995, she signed a contract with Rotana, producing three albums. She filmed many exclusive music videos for the Arab Radio and Television Network. After her contract with Rotana ended, she signed with Renad Company, which produced her album “Alaik Aini” in 2001. In 2003, she released a single titled “Ma Tghib Ani Bishtaqlik,” which was edited by Jordanian television with clips of her and the late Abdel Halim Hafez. During the July 2006 war, she released a patriotic song through the music video “Lebanon Ya Lebanon,” filmed in a Dubai studio, wearing a black shirt to express sorrow for the martyrs. In 2007, she signed a contract with producer Naguib Sawiris of Q-music, which later separated from Melody due to conflicts but she terminated the contract due to delays in releasing her songs after much public inquiry about her absence. In 2008, she released a religious song titled “Allah Ya Rahman” during Ramadan, then disappeared from the artistic scene, stating in an interview that she was in love and moved to live outside Lebanon.
