For her role in the series “Sex and the City,” she won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2004, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy four times in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004. She also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Female Actor in 2000 and Outstanding Ensemble in 2001 and 2003.
