Biography, Life story
Jumana Murad was born on April 1, 1973, in Sweida, Syria. She holds a degree in English literature from the University of Damascus in Syria and has also studied drama and acting at the Art Actor Center in London. In her early career, she worked as a presenter for Ajman TV, but when the program she hosted was discontinued, she entered the artistic field through friends who introduced her to director Najdat Anzour. She began working in television drama in 1998. She is the owner of Jumana International for film and television production and distribution, and she is a member of the Committee of the Union of Cinema and Television Industry in Syria, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Producers Union affiliated with the Arab League. Her cousin is actress Nivin Madi.
