Ahmed Fahmi was born on March 17, 1978 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. He started his artistic life as a violinist in the Amr Diab band, then a singer in the Wama band, relying on his singing talent and his studies in the Conservatoire.

Ahmed Fahmi married a woman named Amira Farraj, after a love story that brought them together after their first meeting at the Egyptian Opera House, and he had two sons with her, Omar and Hassan.
