Amber Heard was born on April 22, 1986 in Austin, Texas, United States, and grew up there. Her father, David, is a contractor, and her mother, Paige, is an Internet researcher for the state. As a teenager, Heard was active in her school in the drama department, appearing in school advertisements and campaigns. At the age of 16, she lost her best friend in a car accident. She attended St. Michael’s Catholic Academy in Austin, Texas, until middle school, and then left it at the age of 17, she grew up on Catholic doctrine, but now she declared herself an atheist.
Amber Heard moved to New York to work in modelling but did not enjoy it. She then moved to Los Angeles to work in acting. She played minor roles in a number of TV shows and films: in 2004 she played “Liz” in (Jack & Bobby) in (WB), “Riley” in (The Mountain), and “Maria” was her first film role in (Friday Night Lights). In 2005 she played a small role as a seller in a film (The O.C), also starred in the horror film (Side FX), then made a secondary role in (Drop Dead Sexy), and her most prominent role was in (North Country).
