Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. His name was initially Inquilaab and others to Amitabh, while he published his literary work as Bachchan, with which he first appeared in films and then became the surname of all his family. He was the eldest son of his parents, his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, who was a poet and died in 2003. His mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh reproductive from Faisalabad, which is now located in Pakistan and was interested in the theatre.
