Delta Goodrem was born on November 9, 1984, in Sydney, the largest city in Australia. She began her artistic career at a young age and signed with Sony Music when she was just 15 years old. Her first appearance was in the Australian show “Neighbours,” where she played the role of Nina Tucker, which opened the door for her into the world of music. Delta’s songs have topped the Australian charts eight times, and all three of her albums have also reached number one. She received the award for the best-selling album of the decade in Australia. Her debut album, “Innocent Eyes,” released in 2003, earned her the title of the best-selling album in Australia.

In 2003, at the age of 18, Goodrem was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer that attacks the body’s immune system, forcing her to suspend all her activities to undergo treatment.
