Elisha Cuthbert was born on November 30, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Her father, Kevin, is an automotive design engineer, and her mother, Patricia, is a homemaker. She has two younger siblings, Jonathan and Lee-Anne. Elisha lived in Greenfield Park, Quebec, near Montreal, and graduated from Centennial Regional High School in 2000, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her career.
Elisha first gained recognition by hosting the Canadian children’s show “Popular Mechanics for Kids” from 1997 to 2000 and for her role as Kim Bauer in the series “24,” which aired from 2001 to 2010. She appeared in the film “Old School” in 2003, followed by “The Girl Next Door” in 2004. She also starred as Carly Jones in “House of Wax” (2005) and in the horror film “Captivity” (2007).
