Biography, Life story

Fatima Khair was born in 1967 in Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco. She dreamed of becoming an actress from childhood and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Casablanca, studying under the late actor Said Afifi. She began in classical theater and caught the attention of the esteemed actor Hamadi Amour at a young age, who invited her to star in the series “Wafa,” marking her first television role in 1989 when she was just 18. This began her artistic journey. At that age, she worked with director Farida Bourquia in the series “Khamsa w Khmiss,” emerging as a fresh face alongside legendary actors.

Her first cinematic role was in the film “Thief of Dreams” and the film “Yaqout” directed by Jamal Belmajdoub. Among her notable films is “Women… and Women” in 1997. She has also acted in numerous other television and film productions. She starred alongside her husband, Saad Tissouli, as a Moroccan couple in the Syrian drama series “Al-Hour Al-Ein” in 2005, which featured actors from various Arab countries, directed by Najda Ismail Anzoor. She shone in the lead role of the television film “Section 8” with her husband. She also worked in the series “Al-Ghalia,” “Al-Ragragi,” and the film “Iqab,” written and directed by Hicham Ain Al-Hayat.

Fatima also ventured into presentation, hosting the program “Asrar w Hulul” and “Lalla Al-Aroussa” on Moroccan Channel 1.

She married Moroccan actor Saad Tissouli after he invited her to participate in plays in 2001. Their initial collaboration did not materialize into a performance, but a friendship developed over three months before their relationship deepened into marriage, culminating in the birth of two children, Aya and Yahya, 15 years later.

In 2021, she won a parliamentary seat on the regional list of the National Rally of Independents party in the Casablanca-Settat region, ranking among the top candidates.
