Haya Al Shuaibi was born on January 1, 1979, in Kuwait. Her brother, Thamer, is an actor, and her sister, Sarah, is a director. She began acting at a young age in 1993 when she participated in the play “Al Harmina” as a replacement for actress Taiba Al Farraj. Following that, she continued her work in theater and television, gaining fame for her comedic roles. Her successful partnership with actor Tareq Al Ali began in 2001 with the play “Ah Ya Darb Al Zalq,” and she worked with him on numerous theatrical and television productions, with their last collaboration being the play “Taht Al Sifr” in 2013, after which disputes arose between them that led to legal action.
In 2011, she ventured into television presentation, co-hosting the program “Tareq wa Hayouna” with actor Tareq Al Ali, which aired on MBC 1. She presented its second season in 2012, the third season in 2013, and in 2014, she hosted the program “Hoo wa Hay wa Hi” with Bashar Al Shatti, Amal Al Awadi, and Hala Turk. In 2016, she presented “Bayt Hayouna,” aired on Kuwait’s Funoon channel.
Haya was initially married and had a son named Fahd before divorcing. She then married actor Hani Al Tabbakh in 2010, and they had a daughter named Fatima in 2013 and a son named Jamal in 2015.
