Lily Collins was born on March 18, 1989, in Guildford, Surrey, England. She is the daughter of British musician Phil Collins and sister to Simon Collins. She moved to the United States at the age of 5 and began studying theater at the Young Arts Academy. She later attended Harvard-Westlake School and studied broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California, where she worked as an actress and television presenter. Lily has appeared in several works, including “The Other Side,” “Mirror Mirror,” and “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.” She was chosen by Chanel to showcase her collection and participated in the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign.
