Biography, Life story
Lina Zahr Eddine was born on July 12, 1975 in the town of Mays al-Jabal in the Marjayoun district of southern Lebanon. Studied at the Faculty of Information and Documentation at the Lebanese University. She worked on radio for two years as a newsreader, worked as a reporter and editor of NBN, and then worked on Abu Dhabi Television for three years. She then worked for Al Jazeera from 2002 and as a news anchor until her resignation with a number of broadcasters in 2010, protesting against the actions of the station’s director, Daheh Khanfer, then deputy editor, Ayman Jaballah, and head of makeup and fashion Louise Abu-Sunna. The broadcasters who took Lina’s side are the Jimana Tigers, Jalanar Musa and Tunisia provide Afali and Syrian Luna the Cub. She has moved to Al Mayadeen since its founding in 2011.
