Mahmoud Abdelmoghni was born on 10 June 1979 in Giza governorate, Egypt. He began his artistic career by presenting several plays while on the university stage, starting as a new face in the series “Nights of the Dream” with director Ismael Abdul Hafez. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2000, and in the same year was presented by Sharif Arafa in the film Aboud at the Border, then his first start in drama through the series “Dancing on Escalators” with director Mustafa Shal. He then took part in the series “Zizenia – Part II” with Jamal Abdul Hamid, then the film “Saya Bahr”, and then the series “Sand”, after which he launched and became one of the most important young stars. Highlights include films (Ghost, Al Jazeera, Al Ghazal Blood, Malaki Alexandria), and series (Tilt Tilt, Al Rakeen).
