Manal Abdellateif was born on May 28, 1982, in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. She began acting at a young age through children’s programs like “Al-Barlaman Al-Saghir.” She was discovered by director Mahmoud Ibrahim, who introduced her in the children’s series “Bunduq wa Banduqah.” She became more recognized through her roles in the series “Dameer Abla Hikmat” with the late actress Faten Hamama and the quiz show “Gedo Abdo” with the late Abdel Moneim Madbouly. Manal holds a degree in law from Ain Shams University. In her youth, she participated in the famous series “Arabesque,” and later in “Al-Abtal,” “Al-Seerah Al-Hilaliyah,” and “Riyah Al-Maadi.” On stage, she appeared in the play “Akhoaya Ha’is Wa Ana La’is” alongside the comedian Samir Ghanem. She continued her artistic career until she retired in 2012 and wore the hijab after her role in the series “Kid Al-Nisa 2.”
