Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992, in Tennessee, United States. She gained fame for her role in the popular Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana,” where her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, also starred as her character’s dad. Miley wrote one of the songs featured in the first season of “Hannah Montana,” titled “I Miss You.”
She began singing at the age of 8 and received the Teen Choice Award for Best Comedic Actress in 2007. Miley appeared in “High School Musical 2” as the girl dancing by the pool. She has two brothers and two sisters and is the middle child of her family.
