Mohamed Lotfy was born on October 17, 1968, in Alexandria, a city in northern Egypt. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, majoring in acting. He participated in numerous television works, including the series “Al-Intiqam,” directed by Nour El-Demerdash, and “Al-Farasha,” directed by Kamal El-Shami. He won an acting award for his roles in films at the Higher Institute of Cinema during the Egyptian Short Documentary Film Festival. He obtained a doctorate in the 1990s and then devoted himself to teaching at the cinema institute.
