Biography, Life story
Mohamed Rifi was born in 1986 in Casablanca, Morocco. He is the youngest of three siblings, including a twin brother of Muhammad and a sister who is visually impaired but who excels in studies and holds a Ph.D. He lived in a simple family that lost his father, Imael, which forced him to leave school at an early age and engage in a working life to support his family, where he worked in many professions, the last of which was an assistant chef in a restaurant in Morocco.
The artistic work began in 2013 after winning the X Factor Arabia title in the first season, challenging Ibrahim Abdel-Azim from Libya and Adham Al-Nabulsi from Jordan, where he managed to win the confidence of the artist Hussein Al-Jasmi in the jury. It is a program produced and broadcast by the Gulf Rotana channel, which gives the right to other channels to broadcast it, such as the Egyptian CBC channel, the Moroccan Medi-1 TV, and the Lebanese MTV, and it is presented by Basil Al-Zaro and the artist Yousra Al-Lawzi.
He released his first video clip (Hygneni), a duet with producer Elam Jay, but soon legal problems began to surface over the working relationship between the two parties.
After signing a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment, Asharq Al-Awsat is preparing to record the song (Kitab Hayati Ya Ain) with a new distribution.
