Rachel Nichols was born on January 8, 1980, in Augusta, Maine, United States. She studied at Columbia University in New York City. She began her artistic career in 2000 by appearing as a nightclub model in the film “Autumn in New York,” then played the role of Alexa in her first series “Sex and the City” in 2002, and since then her work in cinema and television has continued.

She married Scott Stuber in 2008 and quickly separated from him a few months later in 2009, then married Michael Kershaw in 2014.
