Safae Hbirkou was born in 1990 in Kenitra, Morocco. She won the title of Miss Morocco (Love of Kings) and became known to the public through her appearances in several television advertisements and fashion shows in Moroccan magazines. In 2012, she made her acting debut with her first role in the comedy film “Switcher,” which aired on YouTube and then on the Moroccan channel 2M, produced by the telecommunications company Inwi. During Ramadan 2014, she starred as “Sakina” in the drama series “Zina” on the channel 2M.
In Ramadan 2014, she appeared in a commercial for a Moroccan real estate product for the company “Al-Dhahabi” alongside Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred. In Ramadan 2015, she played the lead role of “Mina” in the series “Wadi” with actor Osama Bastawi, which aired on the Moroccan First Channel and became a successful show that opened the door to fame for her among Moroccan audiences. The series won the title of Best Moroccan Series in a poll by the Moroccan magazine “Sayidaty,” and Safae Hbirkou was awarded Best Actress of 2015 in the same poll, receiving widespread support from readers who voted for her.
