Biography, Life story

Shaimaa Sabat was born on October 26, 1977, in Muharraq, Bahrain. She comes from an artistic family and is the eldest daughter of actress Fatima Ismail. Her sisters are actresses Shadha Sabat, Abrar Sabat, and Shailaa Sabat. She studied for a diploma in civil engineering, and obtained bachelor’s degrees in media and public relations, and psychology. Shaimaa began her acting career in 1988 in children’s theater, and she has participated in numerous productions from the late 1980s through the 1990s and into the early 2000s, such as “Nawi Boo Ta’ab,” “Hazawee Al-Dar,” “Bayt Al-Mughtani,” and “Surour.” She appeared in a program in Spain on Al-Andalus Satellite Channel in 2000, and her breakthrough role came in the series “Aamiy Alwan” in 2002 alongside actors Ghanem Al-Suleiti and Emirati actress Samira Ahmed. Since then, she has continued to present works in theater and television, as well as hosting various television and radio programs.
