Sherif Amer is an Egyptian broadcaster. His father is the renowned journalist Mounir Amer. He honed his skills in media and journalism under the mentorship of leading figures in the field. He was chosen to launch successful media projects in Egypt during the early 1990s, such as Nile International and Nile News. He also gained journalistic experience as a translator and editor in several publications, including Rose El-Youssef magazine, Al-Aalam Alyoum newspaper, and Kol El-Nas magazine. In early 2001, he moved to MBC, where he served as the program director for the Cairo office. After some time, he relocated to the United States and worked for Al-Hurra News Channel for four years, during which he hosted and produced the popular show “Saa’a Hurra.” He later returned to Cairo to work on the talk show “Al-Hayat Al-Youm” on Al-Hayat Channel.
