Souhir Ben Amara was born on November 27, 1985, in Tunis, Tunisia. She studied film directing at the Multimedia Arts College in Manouba, Tunisia. Her acting career began in 2008 with a role in the series (Maktoub). In 2009, she played a small role in the series (Choufli Hal), followed by a starring role in the series (Ashiq Al-Sarab) in 2010. In 2011, she played the lead in the series (Min Ayam Mliha), and in 2012, she worked in the film (Dima Brando) and the series (Table and Chairs). She gained significant recognition for her lead role in the 2013 film (Manmoutch) directed by Nouri Bouzid, where she portrayed the character of Aisha, a veiled woman.
