Téa Leoni was born on February 25, 1966, in New York City, United States. Her father, Anthony Pantoliano, was a lawyer from Fulbright & Jaworski, and her paternal grandfather was of Italian and English descent; he was a nephew of Italian economist and politician Maffeo Pantoliano. Her mother, Emily Ann “Patterson” (née), was a dietitian and nutritionist. Téa studied at Sarah Lawrence College and attended Brearley School and The Putney School. She began her acting career in 1989 with the role of Lisa DiNapoli in 6 episodes of the series “Santa Barbara,” and her first film role was in “Switch” in 1991. She starred in several notable films, including “Jurassic Park” and “Deep Impact.” Téa married Neil Tardio Jr in 1991 and divorced him in 1995. She then married David Duchovny in 1997 and divorced him in 2014.
