Nicki Minaj was born on December 8, 1982 in Port of Spain, the capital of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, to a father of Afro-Indian descent. She lived with her grandmother until the age of 5. She entered the school of acting and singing and studied at (Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School). She was known by her nickname Nicki Minaj since her childhood among her family and friends, and her father was an alcoholic, and on the day he tried to kill her mother, one day she came home and found her father beating her mother, so she went to her room crying to pray to God to make her rich to make her mother happy and compensate for her, Nicki was pregnant at the age of five Ten, but she had to have an abortion because she had nothing to give him, and because she was young, Nikki says that this nightmare haunts her until now, and she is really sad and wrote a song about it. She traveled with her mother to New York, and there she was preparing to participate in a singing competition program, but her voice suddenly disappeared, but later she was able to participate in another singing program and won first place. She started artistic work in 2007. She started composing some songs and publishing them on the Internet, trying to attract someone, until she succeeded and one of the artists was attracted to her. And her first unofficial album with a band, but she wanted independence, but she did not achieve fame until she released two unofficial albums.
