Biography, Life story<\/h2>\n

Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. His name was initially Inquilaab and others to Amitabh, while he published his literary work as Bachchan, with which he first appeared in films and then became the surname of all his family. He was the eldest son of his parents, his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, who was a poet and died in 2003. His mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh reproductive from Faisalabad, which is now located in Pakistan and was interested in the theatre. She was offered a role in a film but preferred her homework and died in 2007. He has a brother named Agitab. He studied in several schools and is a graduate of Sherwood College in Ninital as well as at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi where he received a bachelor’s degree in science. He then worked for a while as a shipping broker for a shipping company in Calcutta.<\/p>\n

Amitabh Bachchan gained wide popularity in the early 1970s with films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar, where he was known as the angry young man in Indian cinema, and has since appeared in more than 180 films in his career spanning more than four decades.<\/p>\n

Amitabh Bachchan made his Hollywood debut as Meyer Wolfchiam in The Great Gatsby in 2013.
\nBachchan is one of the most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. Because of its influence and dominance over the film scene in the 1970s and 1980s, French director Fran\u00e7ois Truffaut called him “the only man of the film industry.”
