Her father, Nawaf Azzam, and mother, Al-Yousef&#8217;s ambulance, took refuge from Palestine to Lebanon in 1948. Her father graduated from the Arab University of Beirut with a law degree. However, he was unable to exercise the legal profession because of Lebanon&#8217;s labour laws, which prohibit Palestinians from most occupations. The head of a school in Ain al-Hilweh also worked as a Palestine refugee camp in Sidon before moving with his family to the Gulf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mayssoun Azzam earned a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Communications and Focus Arts in Journalism from the Lebanese American University and also received a Master&#8217;s degree in Global Politics from Birkbeck College, University of London. She worked as a news anchor for the Arabic News Network (I.N.) Then I moved to Al Jazeera where I worked in the economic bulletin, and then I moved to Since 2003, Al Arabiya has been presenting a programme (Viewers and Opinions) that has lasted for nearly two years, presenting news bulletins at different times, in addition to occasional participation in the presentation of a programme by Iraq that is shown on Friday evening every week.
