She is the sister of the retired singer Rita, who worked in the music industry during the 1980s and then chose to retire and wear the niqab. Dina holds a master’s degree in philosophy. She gained fame in the 1990s, starting her dancing career in high school. She maintained her position at the forefront despite competition from Lebanese and Russian dancers, as well as a few Egyptians in Egypt, and became known as a skilled belly dancer.
