Jannat Mahid was born on January 6, 1986 in Oued Zem, Morocco. She grew up with three siblings and was the youngest and the only girl among them. Since she was the youngest, Jannat was the center of everyone’s attention. Thanks to this attention, her families discovered that what caught her ear weren’t the children’s songs that were appropriate for her age but the deep songs she memorized and began to sing. Hence, her family provided all the support for her talent, especially her mother, who has a sweet voice, but she used it to sing only on family occasions. When she was eight years old, she participated in a singing competition in Morocco and for the first time in her life stood on a stage accompanied by an orchestra. Despite her young age, Jannat was not afraid and did not settle for winning first place in the competition, but later participated in three other competitions in Morocco and won first place in all of them.<\/p>\n

It also won first place in a fourth competition in Alexandria before winning first place also in the Tourism and Shopping Festival in Dubai. She began her artistic life while singing at music festivals in her country, then she was invited more than once to sing at the Arab Music Festival in Egypt, and it was the opportunity in which producer Ahmed El-Desouky saw her and got to know her voice and felt her strong talent, so he asked her to produce for her, but she was fifteen years old She is still completing her education in Morocco, which made it difficult to complete the contract between them.<\/p>\n

Then he came back and saw her in 2004 after the success of Hatem Fahmy\u2019s first album \u201cMesh Min Haqak\u201d with the \u201cGood News for Music\u201d company, so she was excited about the idea of \u200b\u200bcontracting between them and that Ahmed El Desouki produced for her, especially after she felt his ability to achieve the success that she dreamed of reaching at the beginning of her career.
