Biography, Life story<\/h2>\n

Nadir Khayat, better known as RedOne, was born on April 9, 1972 in Tetouan, Morocco. At the age of 16, when he was listening to The Final Countdown to a song by Swedish rock band Europe released in 1986, he decided to move to Sweden to study music.<\/p>\n

Beginning in Sweden and Europe<\/span><\/h3>\n

He started producing pop music in Europe at the beginning of the 21st century. After several attempts to produce successful music, the songs \u201cI Wish\u201d and \u201cLittle Mama\u201d were very popular in Canada, recorded by RNB singer Carl Henry. He also won a Swedish Grammy Award and the title of Best Scandinavian Song of the Year, for the song \u201cStep Up\u201d, working at the time with fellow musician Bilal Hajji.<\/p>\n

In 2006, he returned to the spotlight again with the song “Bamboo” with Colombian singer Shakira, which became the “official tune” for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He also performed a remix of Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” with Wycliffe Jane. Shakira sang a remix of this song at the closing ceremony of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Berlin with Wycliffe Jane in attendance. This review was watched by nearly 1.2 billion viewers on television.<\/p>\n

After that success, he moved to the United States, specifically to New York, and began working with Epic Records.<\/p>\n
