Haifa Wehbe was born on March 10, 1976 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, and grew up there, to a Shiite Muslim family of a Lebanese father and an Egyptian mother residing in Lebanon. She was not created with a golden spoon in her mouth. Rather, she lived through hardships, and her life or childhood was not like the rest of the children. She grew up and was raised with her mother in a less than ordinary apartment in Beirut, close to Sana\u2019a, with a large number of her family members. She also suffered, like most of the Lebanese people, from the brunt of the war. sectarianism in Lebanon.<\/p>\n

She tried in various ways to get rid of poverty, she never aspired to stardom. The head of the Syrian Artists Syndicate, Sabah Obeid, banned her, among a group of Arab female singers, from singing in Syria, on the pretext that they were female singers who presented sexually provocative nudity.
