Yosra El Lozy was born on August 8, 1985 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Her father’s name is Muhammad al-Lawzi, who is Egyptian, and her mother is Syrian. Graduated from the Faculty of Political Science.
She started acting as an amateur on the American University stage under the supervision of her father, Professor of Theater at the University, Mahmoud Al-Lawzi. Then she moved to professionalism by starring in the movie (Alexandria New York), directed by Youssef Chahine, with a nomination from Marian Khoury, her mother’s friend. Since then, she has played a number of roles in films such as (Stolen Kisses, Natural Colors), roles that I put on the TV drama map as well, so she participated in series such as (Lahazat Harga, Very Special, The Group, Hamra Lines).
It also fought the criminalization of presenting programs by presenting the first version of the (X-Factor) program alongside Basil Al-Zarro.
